MCP

Summary

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that gives an AI agent real tools: search, read data or control apps through natural language.

What it is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard protocol that connects an AI model to external tools and data. An MCP server exposes actions (for example "create an issue in GitHub" or "query this table") that the agent can run without custom code.

Why it matters to an agency

The same MCP server works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other compatible clients. That means you connect once and reuse it across your whole stack, giving your agents access to CRMs, databases and browsers.

Example

You ask your agent "check the latest leads in Supabase and write me a summary". The agent uses the Supabase MCP server to read the table and then generates the summary.
