|---|---|---|
| Meta confirmed that WhatsApp marketing messages stop being delivered through the Cloud API on October 13, 2027. From that date every marketing send goes through the Marketing Messages API, which HighLevel already supports as MM Lite. Service and utility messages stay on the Cloud API unchanged. | Official | |
| MM Lite adds animated GIF headers, Android app deep links, conversion tracking through to purchase, and cost metrics per template, per click and per delivery. The Cloud API gets no new marketing features. | Official | |
| HighLevel published one website template (Beauty & Fashion), one email template, one survey template (Marketing Agency), social templates for Medical, Legal and Home Services, and Facebook, Google and LinkedIn ads for niches such as Campground & RV Park, Barber Shop and Executive Recruiter. It also adds a snapshot for a Commercial Property Inspector under Real Estate. | Official | |
| October 15: WhatsApp gets a rebuilt template builder with a live phone preview. Dynamic media headers accept custom fields (image, video or document) that resolve per contact at send time, so one approved template serves invoices, tickets or personalized images. The value must be a public HTTPS URL that Meta can download; an empty or private field makes the send fail. | Official | |
| October 15: The limited time offer WhatsApp template arrives: a countdown WhatsApp draws inside the message, a discount code that copies with one tap and a URL button. The expiry is set on each send, so one approved template runs several campaigns without going back through Meta approval. Meta requires both buttons and accepts sends with an expiry that has already passed, which show as expired in the chat. | Official | |
| October 15: Gift card communications (purchase confirmation, recipient emails and SMS) are translated into the selected language, and the previews in the send flow reflect it. | Official | |
| October 14: From the sub-accounts list you can enable or disable features for several sub-accounts at once with the Update features button. Changes are queued, take about 2 to 5 minutes and can be followed in Bulk Actions History. | Official | |
| October 14: Workflows adds the Add Internal Comment action, which posts an internal comment in the conversation when the workflow runs, with mentions of team members, without sending anything to the customer. | Official | |
| October 12: Meta Pixel changes when InitiateCheckout fires to measure the real start of the checkout process. AddPaymentInfo includes more order and customer data when available. | Official | |
| October 12: HighLevel publishes new templates for sites, funnels, email, ads and social media, plus a new setup template for accounting. | Official | |
| October 10: The new custom field types are now supported in setup templates and the public API. Agencies can replicate setups across sub-accounts and integrate these fields through code. | Official |
AI (6)
| Date | Change | Source |
|---|---|---|
| October 15: AI Studio adds Git Sync with GitHub. Connect an account (More, Git) and it creates a private repository named after the project, pushes every saved version and pulls every commit made outside AI Studio, with a fresh preview. It works with React (Vite) and TanStack Start projects, syncs only the connected branch, and commits show up as GHL AI Studio. | Official | |
| October 15: The AI Studio Payments checkout lets you show, hide or require the phone and each billing address field, turn on a two-step checkout that saves the contact before payment, and show the full order summary after payment. With the two-step checkout, new contacts fire the Contact Created trigger, not Order Form Submission. | Official | |
| October 14: AI Studio builds native HighLevel chat widgets (Live Chat or Email Chat) into apps, using the site's colors and fonts; every message lands in Conversations and leads per widget show in More, Analytics, Chat Widgets. Voice, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram widgets are not available in AI Studio yet. | Official | |
| October 12: HighLevel adds a structured data management panel for websites and funnels, in the SEO and AEO tab. It lets you review page status and generate structured data with AI, one page at a time or in bulk. | Official | |
| October 9: AI Studio Cloud adds a built-in infrastructure with a database, user authentication and file storage for compatible apps. | Official | |
| October 8: AI Studio lets you sell products and accept payments with HighLevel's native system, including subscriptions and post-purchase offers. It is available only for TanStack Start apps. | Official |
Compliance and phone (3)
| Date | Change | Source |
|---|---|---|
| October 16: Call tracking on number pools labels the ad platform better: calls from Facebook ads show as Facebook Paid, and calls from TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft (Bing) ads are labeled too, as are Google ads clicked inside an app; links with utm_medium=cpc show the platform plus Paid and visits from ChatGPT get their own source. It applies to new calls only and needs no setup. | Official | |
| October 16: Number pool calls can ring up to 6 users at once, and each one answers on the device they prefer (web, mobile, desk phone or their own number). Turn it on in the pool settings with Ring Incoming Call to selected Users. | Official | |
| October 12: HighLevel cancels the voice rate changes that were planned for October 13, 2026. The affected rates will stay unchanged. | Official |
Errors and status (2)
| Date | Change | Source |
|---|---|---|
| October 16: Resolved incident in Voice AI: agents could not answer live calls from around 8:45 UTC, after a deployment. HighLevel's initial investigation pointed to a missing import that broke the connection to a third-party provider, and the incident was resolved the same day. | Official | |
| October 14: Platform-wide outage of usage-based products, now resolved: Wallet, voice billing, Conversational AI, domain purchases, AI Studio, AI Agents and workflow executions. Marketplace was the last service to come back. | Official |

| Workflow Builder adds a sender domain selector inside the workflow settings. Each workflow can use a different verified dedicated domain, instead of necessarily sharing the same sending domain with other workflows. | Official | |
| Calendars, Services and Rentals add the option to count only available days within the booking range. Days outside the configured hours no longer use up the range. | Official | |
| Protected snapshot assets can now be reused freely within the same agency and across its sub-accounts, while protection is kept when you try to share content outside the agency. | Official | |
| Forms, Surveys and Quizzes let you schedule an opening and closing date and time, time zone, a message before, a message after or a redirect to another URL. Existing experiences stay the same if scheduling is not turned on. | Official | |
| Chat Widget now takes colors and fonts directly from Brand Boards, and automatically keeps the existing colors in the default palette. | Official | |
| Calendars now let you offer up to three meeting durations within a single calendar, with a default duration and availability recalculated based on the option chosen. | Official | |

| Ad Manager stops offering Instagram Explore as a selectable placement because of the Meta Marketing API v26 change. | Official | |
| HighLevel added customizable categories and colors for tags in Labs. Existing tags stay active, appear in gray at first and sit in the "No category" category until they are organized. | Official | |
| Communities added the "Requested to Join Group" workflow trigger, with filters by group and answers to membership questions. The answers can also be sent to a GPT action to evaluate requests before approving them or sending them to manual review. | Official | |
| Client Portal now shows notifications inside the portal when a contact receives an invoice or an estimate. It needs no extra setup and, for now, the supported channel is the in-app notification. | Official | |
| Client Portal added appointment management so contacts can view, book, rebook, reschedule or cancel eligible appointments from the portal. The feature requires enabling calendars for Client Portal and turning on Appointments in the portal permissions. | Official | |
| HighLevel published new templates for websites, funnels, email, social media, Facebook ads, Google ads, LinkedIn ads and Snapshots. The industries included are travel, home services, beauty, automotive, medical, legal, marketing agencies, restaurants, wellness, finance, insurance and consulting. | Official | |

Compliance and phone (6)
| Date | Change | Source |
|---|---|---|
| HighLevel now shows the WhatsApp messaging limit at the WABA portfolio level, aligned with Meta's model. All numbers in the same portfolio share a single daily limit. | Official | |
| The Send SMS action in Workflows adds a country selector for tests. A number typed in local format is saved in international format before the test SMS is sent. | Official | |
| Chat Widget now separates the legal notice from explicit consent, with a configurable checkbox, custom text and the option to make consent required or optional. | Official | |
| HighLevel added support for WhatsApp usernames. When a new contact starts a conversation using a username and hides their phone number, HighLevel creates the contact using the username and the BSUID identifier. | Official | |

| Labs added audio device selection for the web dialer, with a main speaker, an additional ringer device, microphone selection and audio tests. Safari supports only one audio output. | Official |

| HighLevel reports that some customers have trouble loading data in Conversations, Contacts and Opportunities because of DNS resolution at certain Internet providers, mainly in New Jersey. The platform says its services are operating normally and recommends temporarily switching to public DNS for affected users. | Official | |
| The HighLevel status page reports all services online on August 8, 2026 and no incidents reported during the day. | Official |

Frequently asked questions
Where is the official GoHighLevel changelog?
HighLevel publishes its changes at ideas.gohighlevel.com/changelog and its outages at status.gohighlevel.com. This page reads both every day and sums them up, with a link to the official entry for each change.
How often is it updated?
Every business day. Each daily edition gets its own page and its changes go into the month's table. Days without real news are not published.
How is it different from the official changelog?
The official one says what changed. Here every change is sorted by category and comes with what it means for an agency that runs sub-accounts: what to check, what breaks and what not to touch.
Does it include platform outages and bugs?
Yes. The Errors and status category collects what HighLevel posts on its official status page, including incidents already resolved, because they explain failures a client reported the day before.
Does it cover HighLevel Labs and beta features?
Yes, when HighLevel announces them. Features in Labs and beta are marked as such, because turning them on in a client account without testing first is an operational risk, not an improvement.
Can I get it by email?
Yes. The daily report also goes out through the Prompt13 newsletter, free.
