The original specification of the /llms.txt standard, proposed by Answer.AI: a file at the root of the site that summarizes what your project is and which pages matter, in a format meant for an AI model to read with little context. It is the source that defines the format many AEO tools generate. Keep expectations in check: it is an emerging convention with no measured citation effect yet, so publish it but do not put it ahead of citable content.
