GHL Updates

Unified Client Portal, separate AI rebilling and a sender for reviews

July 30, 2026

Product updates

  • Client Portal unifies in one branded experience what used to be split across Client Portal, Courses, Communities and Billing. The redesigned dashboard shows courses in progress, community activity and pending invoices in the same view. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • HighLevel says the rebuild sets up a shared architecture for all membership products, so the user moves between them without switching tabs or losing context. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • Communities was rebuilt inside the unified portal and GoKollab, with discussion feeds that support inline comments and reactions, expanded moderation controls for admins and direct switching between courses. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • Communities settings were reorganized into dedicated sections for access, branding and membership requirements. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • Client Portal sends in-app and push notifications when an admin shares files with a contact, on both web and mobile. Notification preferences are managed inside the portal settings. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • The Reputation module now lets you target reviews by a specific date range in drip campaigns, instead of using only fixed age thresholds. The interface shows a preview count of eligible reviews and blocks the creation of empty campaigns. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • HighLevel notes that existing age-based campaigns keep working without needing to be changed. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • Review requests support setting a default phone number, for SMS and WhatsApp, and a default email address at the sub-account level. The selection applies automatically to manual requests, campaigns and workflows. Source: HighLevel changelog.

AI updates

  • Conversation AI and Voice AI were split into two separate products for billing purposes, each with its own usage tracking and rebilling setup. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • The split lets an agency charge each product with different margins, instead of being tied to the previous combined billing. Source: HighLevel changelog.

What to do today

  • Review the rebilling setup for Conversation AI and Voice AI separately and confirm the margin on each matches what you charge today. A setup inherited from the combined billing can leave one of the two with no markup. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • Set the default review request sender in each sub-account, phone and email, before the next campaign goes out. An inconsistent sender lowers the response rate. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • Test the unified Client Portal in one sub-account before announcing it to clients with active courses or communities, paying attention to navigation and branding. Source: HighLevel changelog.
  • If you use review drip campaigns, consider moving the fixed-age ones to date ranges for seasons when review volume changes. Source: HighLevel changelog.
